Generally moist PLA becomes really brittle, snapping in half with little to no force.
Also, when you go to print it, you would hear sizzling and “popping” noises coming from the hotend.
If you don’t experience those symptoms, there’s a good chance that filament is still good to use, but I could be wrong..
